Youth Group


St James joins together with St Mary Magdalene in Lillington to run the Youth Group. The aim is to encourage young people to know Jesus, and themselves, better. We are glad to provide a space for young people to bring questions and ideas and to walk with them as they grow in their faith.There is always discussions, prayer, games and, of course, refreshments.​ We encourage young people to get involved in leading services, help at events and take as full a part as they would like to in church life, as a vital part of our church family.

​Youth Group is held 6.30-8pm in the Octagon, St Mary Magdalene in Lillington, on the second and fourth Sundays each month, for ages 11-16. It is free to attend and you do not have to be a member of the church. Second Sundays will be a guided session and this years theme is Youth Alpha. Fourth Sundays will be social sessions where the young people can invite their friends for games or films and snacks.​
